Meria, Forest of the Elves

Created from the earth's heavenly ashes, Meria is known to all elves, drow and blood alike, as the birthplace of the Elven Goddess, Melian. In the ancient texts of the Gods and Goddesses, Melian was the daughter of the great God, Methia, and she was granted the many powers of fire, earth, water and air; many that her father had. Being born of such a statuer, she was prohibited of interacting with anyone on earth. She was to remain in her moon Palace called the Crystal Tomb. It was given such a name because he elder sister, Galadriel, imprisoned mortals within the walls. Galadriel was a wicked child and thus her father banished her to the mortal world, stripping her of her powers; so he thought.

Melian, defying her father, traveled to the human world to look among the children of the earth. Walking amongst the forest of Bel'Nir, she came across creatures called 'Vampires'. These creatures were odd and yet exciting to her. Their long fangs and such pale skin fascinated her. But she was quick to learn many were not as “friendly” as others. While traveling toward Meria, she was attacked by a gang of vampires claiming they were serving Galadriel whom wanted her younger sister dead. It is said that Melian was rescued by a elven man Voronwë whom happened to be prince of Meria at the time. Returning back to the village, and many years later, the two were married and Melian thought her sister’s wickedness had passed, but she was wrong… Dead wrong…
